Accreditations, Approvals and Licensure
Valley College is deemed to hold recognized accreditation by the U.S. Department of Education through the period ending June 12, 2018. Accreditation is a continuing requirement for an institution to maintain eligibility to receive funds under Title IV, HEA programs. The institution’s accrediting agency through December 2016, the Accrediting Council of Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS), did not receive renewal of its own recognition by the Department. To ensure continued eligibility for Title IV funds, Valley College must receive approval by June 12, 2018 under a new accrediting agency recognized by the U.S Department of Education.
